From time to time I look up auction values for posters that I have and for ones that I want to buy. I have always loved Portland Emek and noticed these have gone way down in value. I just bought one on Ebay for $99 and I saw trades early on for Portland for Wrigley Cracker Jacks (Shuss).
I also noticed that the STL Popeye poster (Marc Dean Veca) is now going for well over $150 when many went for closer to $100 soon after the show. I have one of these and have always considered trading it.
Any ideas why these posters have changed value so much? A year ago, I couldn't imagine asking to trade a Popeye for Portland but now that appears to even be an uneven trade.
